On Thursday, September 14th and 21st, New Renaissance Singers will kick-off their winter season by opening up their rehearsals to any new singers who are interested in being a part of an amazing choral community! Rehearsals are held weekly at The Unitarian Universalist Society of Bangor, 120 Park Street from 6:45pm – 8:15pm.
Founded in 1992, NRS is a non-auditioned community choir that performs an eclectic repertoire from Madrigals to Mainstream music of today. All who share a love of singing are most welcome to come to our rehearsal and see what being a part of NRS is all about!
Under the direction of Molly J. Webster and Collaborative Pianist, Terrence Henry, NRS has an exciting season planned! As always, the program will present a mix of works from various time periods and genres and will include everything from Praetorius to Whitacre, featuring songs of love, community, and well-loved holiday favorites. There’s sure to be something for everyone!
In addition to our large winter and spring concerts, NRS also performs throughout our community and beyond, sharing our love of singing with our audiences and making new friends along the way.
